03: Ron abandons Harry & Hermione on the road after a tense argument.

08: Hogsmeade weekend. A brawl nearly erupts at the Three Broomsticks when Hannah Abbott, Padma Patil, Parvati Patil v. Daphne Greengrass + 1 IS MEMBER get into a heated debate about the Ministry stripping muggleborns of their wands and rights. Professor McGonagall is there to intervene.

10: Alecto proudly announces she is reinstating the Inquisitorial Squad. Prefects no longer have any disciplinary authority, but if an existing prefect wishes to keep a badge and inherit all the privileges of an IS member, they are encouraged to submit their name to Alecto to be considered for recruitment.

11: Nathan Rivers deducts an impressive total of 200 points and doles out 5 detentions during his first day wearing the IS badge.

14: Dumbledore’s Army has its first meeting to discuss the Carrows, the Inquisitorial Squad, and the changing tide at Hogwarts. The only person not in attendance is Zacharias Smith, and things turn into an argument about recruiting and how to handle Zach having DA knowledge.

NOVEMBER

05: Hogsmeade weekend. Dumbledore’s Army anonymously mass-distributes its first pamphlet, which covers several topics such as the Ministry’s treatment of muggleborns, an exposé of the Carrows criminal records and involvement in the first war, and a “List of Reasons You Should Still Support Harry Potter.” Any student caught with a copy is given a week of detention.
